MRS OPEYEMI ADEJORO, THE WIFE OF EBOLA SURVIVOR DELIVERS A HEALTHY EBOLA- FREE BABY GIRL.

The wife of Ebola survivor, Mrs Opeyemi Adejoro delivered a healthy Ebola-free baby girl at consultant medical center Lagos, on 1st December 2015.
Her husband Dr Adewale Adejoro contracted Ebola when Mr Patrick Swayer reached out and shook his hand just before the doctor slipped on his glove. Dr. Adejoro found it “very, very difficult” to drink enough ORS to stay hydrated. He was the only one of the six survivors Dr. Cleary interviewed who received IV fluids, which aided his eventual recovery.




The baby weighs 3kg at birth and placenta 450kg. She is a product of a term gestation was delivered following strict guidelines and recommendations from the Centre for Disease Control (CDC), USA, through the pre-natal and delivery stages.
